Vaginal Tightening
Veginal tightening is a procedure that aims to “tighten up” a vagina that’s become slack or loose from vaginal childbirth or aging. This surgery is performed under local anesthesia.
A strip of loose or damaged mucosa is removed from posterior vaginal wall, muscles are tighten and overlapped in midline and vaginal opening is narrowed as required.
It’s 45 mints to 1 hour procedure which has very less complications. There is no scar on external surface. Healing usually occur within one week. Normal and routine activities can be performed after 3 to 5 days. Usually 2 days rest is required. There is no need of stitch removal as these are absorbable stitches.
